Tekno quits Ubi Franklin’s label – launches his own music imprint

Nigerian singer, Tekno seems to have taken a walk from Ubi Franklin’s music label, “Made Men Music Group.” This is evident from a post he made on his IG page where he sampled the logo of his newly set up record label.

Towards the ending of 2018, Tekno somewhat went into musical relegation and reached out to his fans to inform them that he was having issues with his vocal cord. According to the singer, he was taking treatment for that issue and was hoping to bounce back in no distant time. His boss, Ubi Franklin confirmed the news on his own IG page.

Even though Tekno was silent towards the end of 2018 due to the damage of his “vocal cord,” the singer managed to drop a new single in December 2018. However, not much has been heard of him since then, and it seemed like he had gone into relegation again. But it seems we now know what took him off the raiders for that period of time.

Tekno presumably was in the background trying to set up his own label, as he has now taken to his IG page to float his label called “CARTEL.” He declared himself the CEO of the new record label. Obviously, he had dumped Tripple-MG.
